Letter from Jane Baulch-Enloe

As a 35-year educator, I have dedicated my career to helping students succeed and supporting teachers, families, and schools. I have taught for 31 years in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District. Throughout my years in the classroom and in educational leadership roles, I have seen firsthand both the incredible potential of our students and the challenges facing public education. I’m running for the Mount Diablo Unified School District Board because I believe every student deserves a high-quality education, a safe and supportive learning environment, and the opportunity to reach their full potential.

I will bring integrity, transparency, and accountability to every decision I make. I believe district resources should be focused on what matters most—students, classrooms, and the dedicated educators who serve them. I will listen to parents, students, teachers, and community members, ensuring that every voice is heard and respected, as I have done at school site council meetings. Together, we can strengthen trust, improve communication, and make thoughtful decisions that prepare our students for success.

As a proud special education parent, I believe that public education is the foundation of a strong community and a thriving democracy. I am committed to protecting that foundation by advocating for academic excellence, responsible fiscal stewardship, student well-being, and meaningful partnerships with families.
